Event Description
- WHAT: West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected. Isolated wind prone areas along the Rocky Mountain Front will see gusts to 75 mph.
- WHERE: East Glacier Park Region Zone, and Northern High Plains.
- WHEN: From 6 PM this evening to noon MDT Sunday.
- IMPACTS: Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Recreationists should be aware of any trees that could fall while establishing camps or hiking.
- ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The most intense winds are likely to occur between 9 PM Saturday and 6 AM Sunday when mountain wave activity will be at its peak.
